OUR GUIDING COMPASS

We are driven to help people adventure further and to bring friends, family and complete strangers together to create memories and stories that make life special.

OUR PRODUCTS ARE MADE WITH BOTH PEOPLE & PLANET IN MIND

QUALITY & DURABILITY

We only build products that are resilient. Overconsumption and low quality components have no place in our business model. We believe that when you purchase a product from us, it should stand the test of time and be handed down to the next adventurer.

DESIGNED FOR HUMANS

When an architect designs a house, they create the spaces that people use, the human habitat. We have taken that same approach and have applied it to how people experience the great outdoors. We aim to redefine the way people set up camp.

HEALTHY PEOPLE & HEALTHY PLANET

We make our products as consciously as we can today, with the knowledge that we must continuously improve as we grow. We encourage people to reconnect with nature and provide them with products that allow one to thrive and get the most out of those experiences.

1% FOR THE PLANET

Camping to Connect

Nature is for us all. What we all know, when we share the same mountain peak, is that nature pushes us to embrace discomfort and, in exchange, it shows us a whole world of beauty. Connect with nature. And with eachother. That is the point.

Camping to Connect is a BIPOC-led experiential mentorship program that uses outdoor recreation and nature immersion to address the diverse issues faced by young men of color in America’s cities. Campworks pledge to the Planet is a commitment of 1% to Camping to Connect, but you can learn more and donate today.

THIS IS OUR STORY

Swipe to learn more about Campworks, our history, our goals & why we build super charged electric adventure trailers.

2017

Campworks began as an Environmental Design project at the University of Colorado.

2019

Campworks was founded and the first demo camper was crafted in a backyard in Longmont, Colorado.

2021

COVID slowed the world down, but not Campworks' progress. The team doubled down on R&D and designed the first versions of the NS-1.

2022/PRESENT

The first NS-1 hit the off-road and was tested across Colorado, California, Nevada, Wyoming, and Utah. We are now accepting preorders for the NS-1.

MEET OUR TEAM

We look forward to meeting you around a campfire one day

FOUNDER & CEO

Thomas Hoffmann

Thomas conceptualized and designed nomadic systems as a student at the University of Colorado School of Environmental Design; mostly in an effort to ski more and avoid class. Trying to offer homes to the homeless and systems to live where you are brings him to the shop everyday.

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY & COMMUNICATION

Kristian Rene

Known to speak with elegance and composure, Kristian is consistently working to bring large concepts to life. She has the same energy while behind the wheel driving the Rebelle Rally in a vehicle running on her own, patented, biodiesel.

DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING

Zach Finnimore

The important thing to know about Zach is that he's faster than you. When he's not building campers, you can find him working on race cars. He has an extensive understanding of a variety of makes and manufacturers. He's also just as quick down the mountain on a snowboard.
